Information on Business:
Basics:
You will be attending sporting events from prospering to post closing, even in bad weather or when the event is not exciting. Your job is not so much to enjoy the game as it is to find the athlete that your clients are looking for.
To Get Started:
In order to get started you need to have a deep knowledge of the sport you are recruiting for, many times an athlete is not doing what fans want so much as what is best for the team and will eventually improve the team. You will need to recognize not just athletic skills but leadership potential, intelligence and sportsmanship. Your client will be very satisfied with an athlete that represents them well and brings a better image. You need to advertise to the athletic departments of your clients, to get known you need to attend many games, and participate in athletic activities involving your prospective clients., also join athletic associations and social networks where your prospective clients participate. Once you obtain your firsts contracts you need to begin seeking athletes by attending more games, contacting coaches and personally observing athletes. Once you have picked a few, you need to contact their families, meet with them, answer their questions about the athletic program you are recruiting for, and securing a commitment. You can charge $30 to $40 per hour and be careful on your mileage and communications expenses which could easily erase any profit you make.
Tips:
Since you will be working alone most of the time you will not need assistants. This is an opportunity for people with disabilities as long as the tasks required can be performed. This business can be run from home since all of your office duties can be there. You will be required to travel extensively to attend games, meet clients, athletes and their families.
